Glassboxx at The London Book Fair!

Like most people in publishing, we’re still pouring over our notes after the busiest London Book Fair yet! Our team took over two hundred meetings, and it was incredible to connect with so many publishers and catch up with so many friends, old and new!
In between a huge number of meetings (many held at our bright and bold stand – don’t say you didn’t notice us!), we managed to attend several sessions at the tech theater, including Byte the Book’s panel and drinks, which covered the latest marketing trends for publishers and authors, Book Machine’s panel and drinks, which explored how tech is used to power publishing businesses, and Marketing Romance: BookTok’s Leading Genre, run by Georgia Henry of The Pitch Agency, and Genevieve Barratt of Simon & Schuster.
One of the most exciting things we noticed about these sessions, and throughout the fair in general, was the attention given to technology, particularly AI, as a collaborative tool to streamline processes for publishers. It’s clear that technology is seen by many as an aid to help publishers reach their audience more effectively. At Glassboxx, we have always been about connecting publishers to readers, so we’re excited to be at the forefront of an era of publishing that combines tech to better embody the values of connection and shared understanding.
On a personal level, it was gratifying to see publishers so enthusiastic about what Glassboxx is doing in this space. We pride ourselves on our work with businesses of all sizes and sectors, and it’s great to see those we work with developing closer relationships with their readers and growing their international sales. Of course, the work doesn’t stop here, with many exciting projects coming out of the fair – and for anyone we missed, we’re only an email away!
