Strong teams don’t happen by accident

Senior leadership team, Glassboxx

In a recent LinkedIn article, Glassboxx CEO Darin Brockman shared lessons from his three decades spanning competitive kickboxing and boardrooms – experiences that shape how Glassboxx operates now. The settings differ, but the core lesson is clear: success is collective.

Whether in sports or business, teams excel through shared purpose and support. At Glassboxx, this shows up in how we work across disciplines with mutual respect, trust, and a recognition that everyone brings unique strengths and qualities. In his article, Darin outlined three principles – communication, integrity, and growth – that continue to guide how we work and will anchor the next chapter of Glassboxx.

Communication

In kickboxing, a team without communication does not last. In business, it is no different. Communication creates clarity, pace, and trust, internally with teams and externally with clients. Strong partnerships of every kind rely on open dialogue, and to this end, we’re upping our efforts. In 2026, we’re implementing new initiatives, including regular cross-team updates, enhanced support channels, and proactive stakeholder engagement, to ensure communication remains a strength and aligns with our core values.

Integrity

Integrity was non-negotiable in competition and remains so today. At Glassboxx, the principle is simple: own it and move on. Be upfront. Be honest. Fix the issue and learn from it. Integrity is not about being perfect. It is about accountability. It runs through the veins of our culture and underpins every long-term relationship we build.

Growth

Growth comes from pressure, reflection, and repetition, whether you are preparing for a world title or scaling a global platform. You look inward. You look outward. You listen, learn, and repeat. At Glassboxx, growth means two things: development and balance for our people, and continually raising the standard of what we deliver to publishers worldwide. This mindset drives how the platform evolves – listening, refining, and innovating through real-world feedback.
