  1. Download the dmg file
  2. Double click it and drag the Fordham UP Desktop Reader icon to the Applications folder
  3. Open your Applications folder and click on the Fordham University Press icon
  4. If you receive the message “Fordham University Press” is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it? Please click Open.

If you receive the message ‘Fordham UP Desktop Reader cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified’ when opening the app, on your Mac, go to Settings and in Privacy & Security, change the Allow applications from setting to App Store & Known Developers.
