What Team Glassboxx is cosying up with this Christmas πŸŽ„πŸ“š

Cosy Christmas reading

As the year winds down and the out-of-office messages begin to appear, Team Glassboxx is turning its attention to the truly important question of the season: what are we reading over the Christmas break? Here’s just a some of what we’ll be curling up with – ideally under a blanket, next to a mince pie:

Aliya Cubbage, Senior Customer Service Advisor:

“I am with Julia on re-reading the Harry Potter books! Another favourite for me is Pride and Prejudice!”

Annabel Parrish, Customer Service Representative:

“I enjoy Jane Austen audiobooks such as Sense and Sensibility and Emma. I also watch The Holiday every Christmas (it’s a modern classic I think).”

Bernadett Lesueur, Customer Service Representative:

“Twas The Nightshift Before Christmas by Adam Kay. Love his original novel as well – this is going to hurt.”

Julia Payen, Finance Director:

“Mine is always Harry Potter series!”

Kate Cruickshank, Marketing Manager:

“I want to take some time to reread Wuthering Heights – Emerald Fennell’s take on itΒ has reminded me of my love for all things gothic!”

Laura Norwood, Data Analyst:

“I usually gravitate towards sports books over the holidays, especially anything about F1 or football, they’re oddly relaxing!”

Tania Rumbold, Operations Director:

“I have a set of the original Grimm’s fairy tales that I was gifted when a child and I reread those each Boxing Day. They are scary!”

What About You?

We’d love to find out what you’ll be picking up during the holidays. If you’ve got a go-to festive read (or a towering TBR pile you fully intend to conquer), let us know!

Until then – happy reading, and happy holidays from all of us at Glassboxx. ✨
