Sites that don’t have their own, built-in ecommerce, such as blogs, micro-sites, landing pages, WordPress catalogue sites, social media accounts etc. can use one or all of the following options to add Glassboxx ecommerce as well as digital fulfilment:-

1. Buy Now button

You can embed a simple Buy Now button for a specific product by copy/pasting a few lines of code from your Glassboxx portal into the HTML of your own site/page. Go to BOOKS / Manage Books, select the required product and scroll down to the Buy Now links section to copy the buy now button code. When the end customer clicks on the Buy Now button, they are directed to the checkout on Glassboxx with the specified product in their basket. After they complete their purchase, they are then signposted to the apps to read/listen to their audiobook/eBook.

2. Buy Now area

You can embed a Buy Now area consisting of the title, price, format, cover image and buy button for a specific product by copy/pasting a few lines of code from the BOOKS / Manage Books section of your vendor account area into the HTML of your own site/page. Go to Products, select the required product and scroll down to the Buy Now links section to copy the Buy Now area code. When the end customer clicks on the Buy Now button, they will be directed to the checkout on Glassboxx with the specified product in their basket. After they complete their purchase, they are then signposted to the apps to read/listen to their audiobook/eBook.

3. Bookstore plugin

You can embed a complete bookstore into your site, listing all the titles you have uploaded to Glassboxx, a built-in shopping basket and using the Glassboxx checkout and apps for fulfilment, as with the Buy Now buttons. To add the bookstore to your site, just go to the Add bookstore plugin page (action 3 under Vendor+ setup) and copy/paste the CSS and Javascript code sections into a page on your site. Then to set up the bookstore, just add the URL of the page into which you’re adding the bookstore plugin into the section in Step 3. With the bookstore plugin, you don’t need an SSL secured website (because this is handled as part of Glassboxx itself).

4. Facebook post

You can add a post to your Facebook profile with the book title, author, price and cover image. Go to Products, select the required product and scroll down to the Buy Now links section to copy the Facebook post code. Paste this into Facebook and publish to your social media followers. The Facebook post links to a product page on Glassboxx for the specified title where the end customer can buy the book and is then signposted to the apps to read/listen to their audiobook/eBook.

5. Twitter card

You can add a card to your Twitter profile with the book title, author, price and cover image. Go to Products, select the required product and scroll down to the Buy Now links section to copy the Twitter area code. Paste this into Twitter and publish to your social media followers. The Twitter card links to a product page on Glassboxx for the specified title where the end customer can buy the book and is then signposted to the apps to read/listen to their audiobook/eBook.
