I’m having trouble with my CSV file. What should I do?

Firstly, make sure your CSV file has the structure described in our CSV guide here, and that all the mandatory fields are included.
You also need to make sure the content of the CSV file is valid, especially that all punctuation is ‘escaped’ in the required way. Our CSV guide here explains this.
Finally make sure you are saving your CSV file as UTF-8. See here for a thorough explanation of how to do this using Excel, Open Office and other editing packages.
