How can we help you?
I have a Glassboxx Vendor account and have uploaded my meta data and assets, so what’s next?
I’m using WordPress and WooCommerce
Download, install and configure the Glassboxx WooCommerce module here. The installation guide describes how this is done and configured.
Then you should create your audiobooks and/or eBooks as Simple Virtual products in your WooCommerce site. You must make sure each product in WooCommerce has an SKU that 100% matches the format ISBN uploaded to Glassboxx. Also, if you have multiple formats of the same title (eg. paperbacks and/or hardbacks as well as audiobooks and/or eBooks), for the best end customer UX, create a grouped product on your website that links all the Simple products for each format.
I’m using Shopify
Go to the INTEGRATIONS / Vendor Integration page from which you can download the Shopify setup guide, and then contact us so we can install our Shopify app on your behalf.
I’m using Magento
Download, install and configure the Glassboxx Magento module from here. The installation guide describes how this is done and configured.
Then create your audiobooks and/or eBooks as Virtual or Downloadable products in your Magento site. You must also make sure each product in Magento has an SKU that 100% matches the format ISBN uploaded to Glassboxx. Also, if you have multiple formats of the same title (eg. paperbacks and/or hardbacks as well as audiobooks and/or eBooks), for the best end customer UX, create a grouped product for the title that links all the Simple products for each format.
I’m not using Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce or Magento
Review the Sales API documentation here and download our sample code showing how to embed the necessary calls to the Glassboxx generic Sales API into the checkout process of your website. The changes necessary are not complex but you’ll need access to the source code of your website, and some IT resource to make the changes to it. You must make sure that the order you pass from your website in the Sales API has an SKU that 100% matches the format ISBN uploaded to Glassboxx.
After having done this, you should make sure your eBooks and/or audiobooks are set up as purchasable products from your ecommerce site. You should also make sure end users of your site are signposted to the Glassboxx apps after their purchase has been successful.
